From matters architectural to matters martial today. Troops on foot and mounted on trucks with some children during the Irish Civil War.

With thanks to all (especially [/photos/freakyrobbie/ coffee robbie], [/photos/pellethepoet/ pellethepoet], [/photos/freakyrobbie/ coffee robbie], and [/photos/gregcarey/ Greg Carey]) we have confirmation and a corroborating Streetview that this image was taken in Bruff County Limerick, during the push on Limerick during the Civil War. With thanks also to [/photos/pellethepoet/ pellethepoet] and [/photos/129555378@N07/ sharon.corbet] we've been able to use today's image to refine the location in Bruff of a related Hogan image we'd previously posted. Thanks again all!
