This is one of a set of eight pictures of Ireland taken from earth orbit that were posted on the internet by Hadfield to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in 2013. This view of Galway Bay on the west coast of Ireland shows the River Corrib flowing south from Lough Corrib at the top of the picture, and into the bay at the city of Galway. The brown land of Connemara is at the top left, with the Burren hills below the bay in County Clare, at bottom left. The original image has been rotated 90 degrees to the left to present a more familiar orientation.
