English: Honourable Walter Horatio Wilson 1887. Queensland solicitor. Born in Wales in 1839, son of Benjamin (Benajmin) Frederick an attorney. Walter married Elizabeth Hannah Feild in 1862 and died in February 1902, Brisbane. When he came to Queensland after a sojourn in Victoria, he worked for the solicitor Wilson and Hemming until death. He was a member of the Brisbane Hospital board; Fellow of the Royal College Institute; Alderman for Toowong Shire Council. CMG. MLC 1885-1902. PMG 1887-1888. Secretary Public Instruction, Minister of Justice and PMG 1898-1899; BC, 1 March 1902. Information taken from D.
