==Am I making this place better or worse?==
I'm gonna write this in English. I want to get honest opinions from the community: am I making this Wiki worse by editing and me with imperfect Irish? An example of my translation: [[YBC 7289]] ([https://ga.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=YBC_7289&oldid=978294 this version]). That's about as good as I can muster, I've taken every precaution. I bet there are some mistakes in it, but how bad is it really? I don't want to contribute to a situation where an Vicipéad is covered with bad Irish. I'll try to use the Athbhreithniú template on everything from here on out, but I understand that there may not be enough man-hours from volunteers with high levels of Irish to correct everything. So should I stop editing and go study grammar for six months or a year instead, or should I keep editing and tagging for Athbhreithniú? :Hi Samalou; my two cents: we want you here and value your contributions to Wikipedia. But there's a lot you can do in terms of editing and improving articles even without fully fluent Irish. For example, several editors are in the process of changing articles to make heavier use of Wikidata-based templates (see [[Lu_Xun]] for one example); you could help with that work. If you have some technical skills, the templates themselves could use some improvement in terms of layout and what information is included. Many other articles lack images, category information, and interwiki links (to other language versions on the same topic). Again this is my opinion as an occasional contributor; others might feel differently.
