:Hi Samalou; my two cents: we want you here and value your contributions to Wikipedia. But there's a lot you can do in terms of editing and improving articles even without fully fluent Irish. For example, several editors are in the process of changing articles to make heavier use of Wikidata-based templates (see [[Lu_Xun]] for one example); you could help with that work. If you have some technical skills, the templates themselves could use some improvement in terms of layout and what information is included. Many other articles lack images, category information, and interwiki links (to other language versions on the same topic). Again this is my opinion as an occasional contributor; others might feel differently.
