| Notes | Aufnahme des beschädigten Gemäldes nach der Sicherstellung durch die Polizei. Das Gemälde wurde aus dem Rahmen geschnitten und zusammengefaltet wodurch die Farbe an den Faltstellen zerstört ist und sich Farbschichten vom Gemälde abgelöst haben können. Die Festnahme Christi, auch bekannt als „Der Judaskuss“, wurde am 30. Juli 2008 in Odessa gestohlen und im Juni 2010 in Berlin wieder aufgefunden. Mehrere zeitgenössische Kopien des Werkes sind bekannt, erstellt von Caravaggio oder seinen Schülern, z.B. in der Irischen Nationalgallerie in Dublin (File:Caravaggio - Taking of Christ - Dublin.jpg) welches als Original in Betracht gezogen wird[1] , die Autorenschaft aller bekannter Kopien ist ungewiss. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
