Plé:Ceantar Féinrialaitheach na gCántach is na Mainseach

Note:

  • In compound words, you lenite the second constituent part.
  • There is no reason whatsoever to lenite "Cánt", because ceantar is masculine.
  • The name "Khanty-Mansi" comes from the two indigenous peoples of the district, so the preferable way to translate it into Irish is "Ceantar Féinrialaitheach na gCántach is na Mainseach".

It's a pity you didn't teach us how to speak Irish :) I agree with you on the translation and I'll change it straight away. GRMA a Phanu. MacTire01 10:19, 25 Eanáir 2008 (UTC)Reply
