I dont konw what the irish for Qatar is so i use it just for now. Also i put down OPEC because it was on the Vicipéid:Liosta de ábhair is gá ag gach uilig Vicipéid page but i am not happy with it (tá brón orm le an Béarla)

I found the Irish for Qatar (Catar) at http://www.acmhainn.ie/ which is a great source for specialist terminology not found in most dictionaries. What aren't you happy with? The article, or using the abbreviation OPEC? Before writing the entry at Liosta de ábhar is gá I googled "Eagraíocht Tíortha Onnmhairithe an Pheitriliam" + OPEC and found lots of uses of "OPEC" in Irish-language texts; but when I tried "Eagraíocht Tíortha Onnmhairithe an Pheitriliam" + ETOP I didn't find any suggestion that ETOP is actually used in Irish. --Angr/(comhrá) 05:30, 13 Bea 2005 (UTC)
