Plé:Gaeltacht Bhéal Feirste
Bhí sé scríofa sa nuachtain Lá nua", go raibh scéim ar bun, ag foras na ghaeilge nó conradh na gaeilge, níl mé cinnte, le comharthaí siopaí (bhí siopa "piotsa", an sampla sa nuachtaín) a chuir i dhá theanga sa cheantar seo (Gaeltacht Bhéal Feirste). 'bhfuil eolas ar bith ag éinne ar seo??--212.17.58.149 09:21, 30 Meán Fómhair 2007 (UTC)
Tá brón orm ach is cainteoir Gaeilge na hAlban mé agus níl mórán Gaeilge na hÉirean agam agus mar sin caithfidh mé scríobh as Bearla: I wish I had enough Irish to edit this page. I think it confuses two related but ultimately separate things: the Shaw's Road Gaeltacht (Bóthar Seoighe) and the Gaeltacht Quarter project (An Cheathru Ghaeltachta). The Shaw's Road Gaeltacht is the older of the two projects. Shaw's Road started the bunscoil, which is not on Falls Road, but on Shaw's Road between Andersontown Road and Glen Road. The Shaw's Road Gaeltacht is a delimited settlement of 22 houses on Shaw's road, while the Gaeltacht Quarter Project is centered around Falls road, a couple miles closer to the center of the city. Shaw's Road resident, Aodán Mac Póilin, in his latest article takes pains to point out that the two projects are distinct:
