The "equals sign" (=) is part of the wikisyntax in templates, so the template got confused when it found it in the text. Have replaced with the HTML equivalent "& # 6 1 ; " to resolve. Guliolopez 14:24, 30 Iúil 2007 (UTC)

This is probably a ridiculous question, and definitely in the wrong place but: "Dhá "é" in aon abairt amháin." from the corrections. What about "Tóg é go bog é"? Surely the only sentence modern Ireland knows can't be grammatically wrong? Cathal 00:39, 31 Iúil 2007 (UTC)

Surely it can. Two é's, two iad's and two í's can only be used in a copula identification sentence: is é Karl Marx é = he is Karl Marx, is í Jenny Marx í = she is Jenny Marx, is iad muintir Mharx iad = they are the Marx family. Actually, "Tóg é go bog é" contains gramatic redundancy. The phrase I've known all my life is "Tóg go bog é". I've only ever heard "Tóg é go bog é" (with the extra redundant "é") once before in my life, in the context used by the band Kíla. And their use of that term was deliberately incorrect.
