Chronicon Scotorum
Croinic Gaelach na meánaoise is ea Chronicon Scotorum (aitheanta fosta mar Chronicum Scotorum).
De réir Nollag Uí Mhuraíle, is cnuasacht annál de chuid Cluain Mhic Nóis é, thar an tréimhse ón ré réamhstaire go dtí AD 1150 le roinnt bearnaí, gaolmhar le hAnnála Tiarnaigh. Caomhnaítear é a bhuí le cóip pháipéir a rinne Dubhaltach Mac Firbhisigh c. 1640, bunaithe ar foinse nach bhfuil ar marthain.
Bhí cóip Mhic Fhirbhisigh ag a chara Ruaidhrí Ó Flaithbheartaigh sa 17ú haois, ach fuarathas é sa Fhrainc le linn na 1760í sular cheannaigh Coláiste na Tríonóide é sa bhliain 1776. Eagraithe agus foilsithe ag William M. Hennessy sa bhliain 1866. Meastar gurb é ar cheann desna hannála Gaelacha is fearr atá ar marthain, as ucht a chuid eolais chruinn.
Deirtear gurbh é Giolla Críost Ó Maoil Eoin é tiomsaitheoir an téacs,[1] ach más fíor, leanadh den obair am éigin tar éis a bháis. Ní fios i ndáiríre go cruinn a chuid ionchuir maidir leis an Chronicon.
