Reasadh
Cathair anois caillte agus ceantar anaithnid ba ea Reasadh (Meán-Ghaeilge Ressad). Creidtear gur chuid de chríocha Uí Fíodhghinte é, suite i gContae Luimnigh an lae inniu.
Ní fheictear an t-ainm ach i gcúpla foinse atá ar mharthain, cé gur sách saibhir a bhí an ceantar.
Cath Reasadha

cuir in eagarInsítear sa seanscéal Conall Corc agus Corca Laidhe, chuir Naomh Colmán mallacht ar Reasadh, agus scriosadh a ballaí dá bharr.[3][4]

Ríthe Reasadha
cuir in eagarNíl eolas ann ach ar bheirt fhear a bhí ina ríthe Reasadha as an dara leath den 10ú haois.
I nAnnála Inis Faithlinn don bhliain 980, tugtar an teideal rí Reasadha ar Dhonnabhán mac Cathail, rí Uí Fíodhghinte[5] go dtí seo. Ní fheictear an teideal sin in aon áit eile sna annála Éireann.

Sa dréacht polaitiúil Cogad Gáedel re Gallaib de chuid na 12ú haoise, ainmnítear an t-aon rí Reasadha eile, agus é ná Flaithrí mac Allamarain, as an 10ú haois amhail Donnabhán, bhriste i réim roimhe siúd. Insítear i CGG gur maraíodh Flaithrí ag Íomhar Luimnigh c. 967 roimh Chath Sulchoit. Bhí Donnabhán ina comhghuaillí Íomhair, agus mac céile leis, ach ní luaitear Reasadh san alt.[6]
“ | Faelan, son of Cormac, king of the Desi, and Flathri, son of Allamaran, king of Ressad, and Sidechad, son of Segni, king of Titill... were killed by Ivar of Luimnech and the foreigners who were with him, because they were endeavouring to hinder the expedition. | ” |
Tá pearsa ann i nginealaigh Uí Chairbre (sinsir Uí Dhonnabháin) darb ainm Flann Ressach, ach ní fios an bhfuil gaol aige le Ress/Ressad. Tá an iontráil le feiceáil i Leabhar Ghleann Dá Loch, macasamhail den bhunábhar i Saltair Chaisil anois caillte.[7]
Ráth Riaráiste
cuir in eagarD'fhéadfadh é go bhfuil ainm an rátha Riaráiste[8] in iarthar Chontae Luimnigh, áit a aimsíodh Cailís Ardach, fréamhaithe ó Rí Reasadha.[9]
